Data Corrections

Permit Minder reports values as published by facilities to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection through the eDMR system. We do not modify, interpret, or recharacterize source data.

If you believe a value is misattributed

Email hello@permitminder.org with the subject line “Data Correction Request” and include:

• Permit number
• Parameter name
• Monitoring period
• The value you believe is incorrect
• The correct value with supporting documentation (e.g., amended DMR, PA DEP confirmation letter)

What happens next

• We aim to acknowledge your request within 3 business days
• We endeavor to complete a review against source data (PA DEP eDMR, EPA ECHO) within 10 business days
• If confirmed inaccurate: we aim to correct or flag the data within 5 business days of confirmation
• If source data supports the displayed value: response explaining the finding with a link to the source record

Response times may vary based on volume.

If the underlying eDMR record is incorrect

Corrections to the source record must be made by the reporting facility through PA DEP. Permit Minder will reflect superseding submissions on the next ingestion cycle. The PA DEP eDMR portal is available at cedatareporting.pa.gov.
